For more thorough cleaning, our rash guards can be hand-washed with a mild, gentle detergent (such as a mild soap or specialized sportswear detergent) in cool water—never use harsh detergents, bleach, fabric softener or stain removers, as these can damage the fabric’s stretch, sun protection and color fastness. Hand-washing is the preferred cleaning method for our rash guards, as it is gentle on the fabric and flatlock seams, but they can also be machine-washed on a gentle, cold water cycle in a mesh laundry bag to protect the fabric and prevent snags on other clothing items.
